Imagine life without lawnmowers. Sounds brutal, doesn’t it? Now, imagine life with one of the many amazing zero turn mowers currently on the market at your disposal. Needless to say, since these beasts have arrived on the scene, they have become the envy of every poor guy who’s still cutting their grass the old fashioned way.
If you’re familiar with zero turn mowers, you’ll have seen their incredible features in action. They get the job done right in an incredibly efficient amount of time, making lawn care seem like a breeze.
Some people, however, are still a bit skeptical. Sure, they’ll hear about the cutting width, fuel capacity, deck lift, and other special features (mine has a cup holder), but they still aren’t sure if commercial zero turn mowers are worth investing in… Here’s a hint: they are. As such, let’s dive into the best of the best in the world of zero-turn mowers.
Top Commercial Zero Turn Riding Mowers
- Powered by a thrilling 25HP Briggs & Stratton commercial turf engine
- Equipped with a durable 60-inch fabricated deck
- Electric "Power Take Off" for fast and easy blade engagement
This highly-acclaimed mower offers extremely good performance, featuring a whole lot of power, a top speed of 7 miles per hour (whereas many top out at 5 mph), and of course the set-up is very cozy. We found that the seat safety switch wasn’t quite ideal, and it can be a little annoying to have to shut off your blades when going over substantial bumps. Other than this, though, a very good mower, and one of the best choices for a commercial grade mower.
- 26 HP Kohler engine provides reliable startups and a max speed of 6.5 MPH
- A patent-pending park brake system automatically activates or deactivates as the steering levers are...
- Air induction mowing technology draws air from the top and bottom of the deck, improving grass and...
Comfortable, fast, smooth, and durable, this is a low-maintenance, high-quality mower. Unfortunately, the tires really don’t work optimally when the ground is wet. Still though, a ton of power and very reliable.
- 34" Cutting Width
- 19 HP/660 CC Engine Power
- KOHLERÂ 6000 Series Engine
It doesn’t lack power, but it sure is small in comparison with a few of the other beasts on this lists. But this helps its portability, which is a huge plus. Not to mention, the cutting height options are very convenient and the three-year warranty is awesome. It is definitely not built for heavy duty, and the engine is kind of tiny compared to some others, but this is one of the best for smaller businesses and residential folks.
- 21.5 HP Kawasaki Engine
Excellent parking brake system, extremely durable wheels that can handle some rough conditions, this is one of those mowers that’s built to last. What we found that was a bit unfortunate with this model is that its spindles don’t last all too long. Nonetheless, they can be replaced, and this is still a great machine overall.
